YOUTH FOR EQUALITY, DALLAS
About Me
- Name: yfe dallas (yfedallas@gmail.com)
We are a non-political, non-violent action team of Indians in the Dallas-Fortworth Area who unanimously believe that the current reservation policy of the Indian Government is against the RIGHT TO EQUALITY - A fundamental right guaranteed to every Indian citizen by the constitution of India. We strongly believe that the Government of India must focus on quality, low cost primary and high school education instead of caste-based reservations in institutes of higher education. It is the onus of the government to PROVE the need and efficacy of reservations of any form. We call upon all NRIs in the DFW area irrespective of their caste or religion to join our group and work towards pushing for equality of opportunity. The NEED OF THE HOUR is to NOT fall a prey to the government's DIVIDE-AND-RULE policy. We are a part of the Youth for Equality forum which is a platform for active participation in matters of public interest. We stand together to send a clear message to the politicians : The time has come where transparency in policy making and implementation is but their only option. In the next 2 weeks we plan to have a mass awareness and signature campaign. JAI HIND

Starting thoughts
Localized protests/marches under different banners are good but uniting under a common umbrella is even better. The time is right and cannot be better.
The strike may be over in India and yes we do have sympathy towards the affected patients, but the movement has just begun.
YOUTH FOR EQUALITY.
